STORIES OF YOGA – The Mythology behind the posture In these sessions, asana will interweave asana practice with mythic narrative and yogic teachings to create a rich experience of alignment. We will explore these teachings in both their historical context, as well as how we, as modern yogis, may derive meaning from these ancient wisdom traditions. Each session will be asana based AND will explore tales from Mahabharata, Gita and other sources. Each workshop explores philosophical teachings and/or a mythic narrative of yoga, and we write ourselves into the stories through practices of asana, pranayama and meditation. Bring an open mind, a courageous heart, and a readiness to play and work hard, with a desire to bring the great teachings of yoga directly into your life. Suited for Yoga Teahcers, as we will be building in how to use this content in your teaching. Saturday 23rd November /// 9am – 5pm /// £50 /// ELLA & FLEUR HOT YOGA /// Tutor: Emily Young
