50 hour Introduction to Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics

11-16h April, Lanehead, Coniston. 

We are so excited to be working with a new larger new in the Lake District where we can open the program up. An intensive discovery of the traditions of yoga as set out by Patanjalis 8 Limbs of Yoga. This 50 hour course is the foundation program to a 200 hour teacher training for those interested in deepening their understanding of yoga without having to do the full 200 hours, or use as a refresher for teachers. 

The Program:
 Begin your day with an early morning meditation and pranayama overlooking Coniston Water followed by Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Rest and relax over a long brunch, followed by Yoga Philosophy and Ethics class and discussion. A light lunch is provided before fun filled afternoon workshops. Afternoons may also include a trek, paddle boarding or other water sports if you fancy it. Dinner in the lounge offers time to socialise, relax or study, the day closes with a Yoga Nidra Practice to help promote a restful sleep. Tutors: Emily Yong (Asana, Philosophy, Embodied Anatomy and Physiology) is joined again by Adrienne LeCoure (Asana, Pranayama, Clinic) and Gabrielle Burnel (Chanting, Sanskrit & Philosophy).
Hosted at Lanehead, a historic period property located on the Eastern shores of Coniston Water and a childhood favourite of Arthur Ransome, the author of Swallows & Amazons. The venue’s elevated position provides sensational views of the lake and high fells beyond with the village of Coniston within walking distance. Accommodation is offered on a shared basis. Cost: £350 (Includes yoga tuition, yoga resources, all meals, 5 nights shared accommodation and trek; costs excludes all travel and any additional activies such as water sports).
